Although I am pleased with the outcome of straightening my hair and trimming my ends, this morning when I took my hair down I was slightly disappointed in it's texture. Last night I applied a drop, one drop, of grape seed oil to my ends and this morning my hair was very STRAIGHT! There is no bounce, there is no natural curl, no definition just straight up straight! Then I started wondering if my tresses were growing or maybe last night I was just seeing things! My fiance even commented that it looked shorter than before I went in, "You cut it!!?" Which would mean that I was going back two steps and forward one! I started to panic and had to take a look back in the arsenal and compare to last nights photos! *sigh of relief* It is still growing, but the whole process of evening out my sections (1/4 trim in the front, 1/2 trim in the back) is a horrifyingly slow process. My hair is shorter, but longer.
Shorter for the fact that I am clipping the nape of my neck twice as much as I am allowing the front to grow. Therefore, in the past two months I've probably cut off at least an inch or more of growth in the back. Many of you will say - we'll that was pointless, but take a look at the photos!! My hair looks healthier and visually even. Goal! At the end of the day, it is all worth it. But boy is it a devastating accomplishment! What an oxymoron!
Have a wonderful week!

Do you self trim? I'm looking to self trim, but I'm a little apprehensive. I'm afraid the hair won't be as even as I want it to be, but I don't really have to funds to get it professionally done. I am also living in a new state and don't reall know/trust the stylists here.
