30/30 | D4 | Down Under

I have a tendancy to get dressed with the lights off, make my lunch by the stove light and struggle with seeing in the dark until my other half rolls out of bed. This morning when the lights were flicked on, I felt as if I hadn't gotten dressed. I could see straight through my skirt; I knew it was made of a thin material, but didn't realize how sheer it was! I was determined to save the outfit! I own two slips, one in navy and one in beige; however, neither solved my dilemma. I stood in the middle of my closet preparing to change when I thought about a free-flowing black skirt that I hadn't worn since last Spring. Within the first few seconds of my search I thought I had thrown it away in my two donation bags. Folded and abandoned, wrinkled and useless. But, then, at the bottom of my skirt pile was the little black skirt. She saved the day! If you look closely, you can see her DOWN UNDER that skirt! BTW: That skirt was part of a 2 piece set, the top will be featured soon!
Thank you L.B.S., I'm glad I kept you!
Rod set on dry hair with minimal styling lotion. My hair didn't "set" and so my curls fell during the day :(

  3. @Monroe: Thanks girl, I've been lookin at your pictures for inspiration!! I love a flowing skirts - it's so easy and breezy!!

@Leslie: I like when they drop, but not fall!! It's nearly straight - lol! I used regular rollers on the back row, then 12 orange rods 24 blue rods and then 12 red rods in the front. Im looking for a spring/summer style that isn't a wash and go! A bit more polished

  4. Love the skirt!

One suggestion: The earrings next to the plain white shirt throws off the balance of the outfit... with solid plain top and cool printed bottoms- add a necklace to balance simplicity with prints.

  6. @Fab, thanks for the info! But, remember that I wear a microphone at work. Most days, I wont be wearing a necklace!! One day I'll bring it home so everyone can see how obtrusive this thing is o_O
